Corporate Functions and Special Events Many small and large companies will have conventions, holiday parties, training for their employees, retreats or functions at a venue or hotel and they will hire our agency to provide childcare during their scheduled event or program. We can help with just babysitting services or design a specific childcare program with a schedule of activities during the times care is needed. Our Guardian Angels can entertain and occupy children of all ages with fun activities, games and toys.
Military Functions Guardian Angels has a lot of experience with providing care for Government functions such as Strong Bonds retreats and Marine/Military Birthday Balls/Events. Military Strong Bonds Retreats are events that a Chaplain runs for the parents (before or after deployment) and asks for Guardian Angels to provide child care during the program. These events can run from 1 -3 days. The United States Marine Corps Birthday is celebrated every year on November 10th with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony. Not all units hold their celebration on that date but many will find a date close to that to have their celebration. We can provide care on base for the units or off base at the property where the function is being held.
For these events, the units that do need childcare for the attendees and are going to use an agency will need to reserve the rooms with the hotel prior and set up and organize the details with the agency.
Activities Programs, Kids Night Out & Summer Camps Guardian Angels can design and manage a Kids Night out that consists of a few hours during an adult event at a country club, a week long summer camp, 10-week summer program for guests at a resort, a craft program during a holiday weekend or just one day camps.
We can provide activities coordinators for themed or non-themed summer camps in some of the plantations or clubhouses throughout the areas Guardian Angels Sitting Services are located. We not only organize activities and coordinate getting campers to and from tennis and golf lessons but also can provide monitoring of swim time at the pool and coordinate a variety of activities and crafts for the campers to do.
Some resorts will hire Guardian Angels to run a week long camp, day camp or crafts by the pool for a specific day. The Resort that is hiring the agency will be in charge of marketing these types of programs and keeping track of how many children will be attending.
Our agency can be hired around a specific holiday such as Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day weekend to do the holiday crafts outside at the pool for the guests. Parents stay with children while they are doing the craft.
Weddings: Adult only receptions and destination weddings have become very popular with brides and grooms. Our babysitters can shadow or provide care for little ones during the wedding and/or reception, to allow the adults to enjoy the special day. The bride and groom can organize childcare for their special day with the agency or we can be added to your wedding website and put in your wedding rsvp’s for your guest to book their babysitter on their own.
Our Agency can provide sitters for the following: 1. The reception: Watch over, entertain, help serve the children their dinner, escort to restroom, accompany the children at the children’s table and can assist with activities, crafts, coloring pages after they eat. 2. Designated Room/ Suite: Watch over the children in a separate location during the ceremony or reception; feed them; entertain them. 3. Outdoors at the Reception: Watch over the children on the lawn or in an outside area where they can play and interact with the children. 4. At the Ceremony: Watch over and assist guests with their children during the ceremony or watch over the children in the wedding party in between events/ pictures. 5. Watch children Privately for attendees in their individual hotel rooms.
Church Needs: We are a perfect fit for our church clients from Sunday School assistance, retreats in and out of the church and weekly bible study classes. Many churches use our agency on a weekly basis or just on very busy holidays such as Easter or Christmas. There are many services we can offer to our local churches.

Gyms and Fitness Facilities: Many gyms and fitness facilities have an area where childcare is provided or can be provided. These businesses usually hire sitters on their own to staff the room. It can become a burden because they do not want to be in the childcare business. Depending on local/state laws, if the facility can provide the space and all supplies and equipment needed, then our agency can staff the room during the busiest hours. Having childcare drop off at the gym can draw more clients.

We provide: Activities, toys, active games, movies and basic crafts. There are additional fees for crafts, that the children take home. We do not provide a TV/DVD, it is up to the group/event to book these items through the venue.
